The Best Summer Camp Options Available at Music House
Summer is in full swing and if you need something fun and educational for your child to do during the break, then it’s time to check out enrolling them into a music camp. Here at Music House, we are proud to offer a wide selection of summer music camps to students of all ages. In fact, we even have a few that are exclusive to our Music House Lenexa location. Below, we’ve outlined some of our favorite camp offerings as well as how you can get in touch to enroll today!
Day Jam
First up on our list is perhaps our most popular camp option, and that’s Day Jam. Day Jam is offered at all three of our locations as is available to students ages 6–12. And the best part? You don’t have to have any prior music experience! This camp is also open to all instruments, including vocalists. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to learn more about music and discover what might interest you.
Rock Band
Has your student always talked about being a part of a real live band? If so, now is their chance! Sign them up to participate in the Rock Band camp, a program that specializes in bringing various students together to form a group. After being coached by an experienced and knowledgeable instructor, your student will perform with their group at the conclusion of the camp. Open to students ages 9–17, they will need to have at least 6 months of experience in their chosen instrument, including vocalists.
Legendary Guitar Riffs
When your student signs up for this Music House Lenexa exclusive camp, they will become immersed in the world of guitar. Together with their instructor, they will explore some of the most legendary and memorable guitar riffs out there, including songs famous in video games, movies, TV shows, and more! In order to sign your student up, they must be between the ages of 9–17 and have had at least four months of prior guitar instruction.
Recording Camp
Last but certainly not least on our list of great camp offerings is Recording Camp. Once more, this is only available at our Music House Lenexa location. Your student will spend the week learning the ins and outs of how to record, edit, and master their music. After all, in this day and age, this skill is just as essential as performing! This option is open to students from age 13 and up, including adults. However, you must have at least two years of music instruction prior and previous band experience is preferred.
